A new online directory of services and supports available to families across the Finglas area was officially launched in October by Anne FitzGerald, Dublin North West Area Partnership’s Education and Employment Services Programme Manager. Entitled 4familiesinfinglas (www.4familiesinfinglas.ie) the directory was developed by the Finglas Children and Family Support Network with the assistance of Dublin North West Area Partnership. Positive2Work for 22 Young People

Following a successful recruitment day, held in Dublin North West Area Partnership’s Finglas office on Thursday the 18th of December, 22 Young People have secured a place on the Positive2Work Programme. Tús is a community work placement scheme that was launched by the Department of Social Protection in 2011. The Dublin North West Area Partnership (TAP) implements and manages the scheme across the Finglas, Cabra, Ashtown/Navan Road and Botanic/Drumcondra areas.
