What is it?
36 hour programme aimed at long term unemployed clients who have no recent work history or who are interested in changing career to a new occupation. Clients may have no concrete career path identified and may have Further Education and Employment Programmes as particular interests. Modules include Welfare to Work, Career Planning, Group Based Guidance, STEPS and IT & Employability.
Who is it suited for?
Long term unemployed clients with limited knowledge of where their preferences are and range of opportunities available.
How many are in the class?
Maximum 14
What is the structure?
Nine sessions (9.30am to 1.00pm daily) held over three weeks
How often do they run?
Every 6—8 weeks across Finglas and Cabra offices
