New Sensory Garden for Ballymun, Work begins Next Thursday September 20th

Muck and Magic Community Garden Ballymun are delighted to welcome LexisNexis to Ballymun on September 20th. LexisNexis are sponsoring a Sensory Garden project and providing 60 volunteers to build a sensory garden on September 20th. Difference Days, an organisation which facilitates Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Projects, have done tremendous work in planning the project and gaining the support of Lexis Nexis. On September 20th approximately 60 staff from Lexis Nexis will volunteer in Muck and Magic. Everybody is welcome to come along and be part of this wonderful project.

Muck and Magic is an organic community garden based in the heart of Ballymun. The garden provides an opportunity for local people living in an urban environment to develop skills and knowledge in Horticulture. Volunteers learn about growing fruit and vegetables and can take food home to their families free of charge. The garden is run by a voluntary management committee and relies entirely on voluntary labour.

Muck and Magic is always open to new volunteers. No experience needed. Learn as you go. The garden is open as follows:

Monday 9.30- 1pm
Wednesday 9:30- 1pm
