GreenView Community Garden

Extern a local group working with children and young adults have brought a splash of colour to the garden with some fantastic murals for the walls. Well done to all involved they look great!

A lot of hard work has been done over the last few months and the garden is looking fantastic. There is a new barbecue area; a potting shed and new sections have been potted up with herbs, plants, flowers and vegetables.

Please note If you have not done so already, it is now time to renew your allotment leases. We have some allotments available and if you feel up to the challenge please call into us any Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and we will sign you up for the year. Call into us between the times of 9am to 3pm

We are always looking for volunteers or those willing to share their knowledge and expertise with us. The garden is a wonderful asset to the community so come along use this valuable resource.

We have received a lot of donations of plants, shrubs, building materials, building and garden tools etc. that people had lying in their shed. We would like to thank everyone who has assisted us with projects and volunteered time, hard work and donated anything no matter how big or small it was very much appreciated.  Our next step is getting ready for our winter / Christmas crops, sowing seeds and getting the soil ready for spring, like all gardens,  a labour of love!
