Dublin North West Area Partnership: Tutors

Dublin North West Area Partnership is now inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals to join an Approved Tutors Panel for a broad range of pre-employment training and education programmes scheduled throughout 2016.

Dublin North West Area Partnership brings together the community, statutory and social partners and develops and delivers plans and actions aimed at reducing disadvantage and supporting and empowering individuals and communities to reach their full potential As central to this work, Dublin North West Area Partnership provides tailored education and training programmes in order to improve client’s skills and to equip them to find work in the current labour market. With this in mind we invite applications to join a panel of tutors. Areas include:

Introduction to Computer Training
Personal and Social Development
Career Development & Planning
Communications and Interpersonal Skills
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
Digital marketing & Social Media for business (basic level)
Business planning and budgeting for micro enterprises
Delivery of start up business training for micro enterprises
STEPS programme facilitation

Ideally, trainers would display a range of skills and experience in their chosen area of expertise and display a strong track record of developing and delivering training within a framework of best adult education practice. Applications are especially welcome from any trainers who have experience of working with students who have limited or no experience of the workplace or who are distanced from employment though long term unemployment.

A Training Rate of €40 per contact hour (€50 evening rate), inclusive of material preparation and class planning, is paid for core delivery on DNWAP programmes.

The successful applicants will be expected to undergo Garda vetting and are contracted on a self employed basis. Successful candidates will be matched to learning programmes on a short or medium term basis from a panel formed after initial interviews.
