We Need Your Help

Do you enjoy reading?

Are you a book worm?

Could you spare 2 hours a week to help local primary school children improve their reading?

Dublin North West Area Partnership is looking for local volunteers to help support its Better Basics Reading initiative.

Better Basics takes place in local primary schools and volunteers work within the schools.

Being a Better Basics Volunteer entails working with a child twice a week for 20 minutes over a 15 week period.

Better Basics Volunteers receive two days training in how to help children improve their reading skills as well as ongoing support within the schools.

If you love reading, want to volunteer with children and have a patient, friendly and encouraging manner we would love to hear from you.
